The Highest Honor of Chongqing Construction Project Quality Goes to Sanfeng Environment Again!

Recently, the results of the 2023 Chongqing Bayu Cup Quality Project Award jointly organized by Chongqing Construction Industry Association were released. The Chongqing Luoqi Waste-to-Energy Project (hereinafter referred as Sanfeng Yulin Project) was selected. This is the second time that Sanfeng Environment won the award since the third Chongqing Municipal Waste-to-Energy Project (Sanfeng Baiguoyu Project) was conferred the Bayu Cup Project Quality Award in 2019.

Sanfeng Yulin Project is located in the Mingyue Mountains, on the banks of the Yulin River, covering an area of about 270 mu, with the total construction area of about 100,000 m2, applied reverse-acting grate and high parameter boiler technology, equipped with 4 lines of 750 t/d stoker and 2 sets of 45 MW condensing steam turbine generators, with the design capacity of treating 3,000 tons of municipal solid waste per day. The project adopts the new ultra-low flue gas emission technology, making the main emission index reach 10% of the 2010 EU standard limit values, which is currently a Waste-to-Energy plant representing the world's leading technology level.

The design of the project integrates the characteristics of Chongqing "city of mountains and rivers". The facade of the main building takes the beautiful Yangtze River bank as the theme, and makes full use of the characteristics of different elevations of various processes to further depict the progressive waves on the bank, full of dynamic beauty. As the mountains and the water are rigid and soft, the outside view of the plant symbolizes the mountains and the river, delivering profound meanings.
